The views from the rooms are incredible, with breathtaking scenes that make every morning feel like a dream. The kitchen is well equipped, making self-catering a straightforward process.
The upstairs bedrooms are cramped with sloped ceilings, posing a challenge for taller guests. Only one double bedroom on the ground floor limits options for couples, and the lounge area lacks adequate seating for larger groups.

Breathtaking views from the farm
From the moment I arrived at Abhainn Ri, I was greeted warmly by Niamh and Joe. The idyllic landscape, with stunning views of Blessington Lake and the Wicklow Mountains, added to the charm of the stay. Each morning, I enjoyed a hearty breakfast featuring homemade pastries and an incredible variety of options, keeping me satisfied throughout the day. An early morning walk down to the lake, accompanied by the sounds of nature, was a perfect start to my day.
While the experience was largely wonderful, my room was somewhat cramped, which made moving around a bit difficult at times. Additionally, the water temperature in the shower could have been more consistent. A few more amenities like towel racks would have made my stay even more comfortable.

The views from our Deluxe Suite overlooking the lake are simply breathtaking, especially during sunrise. Niamh's warm welcome made us feel right at home, complete with delicious homemade pastries as a surprise. The walks across the fields to the lake provided a perfect opportunity to unwind in nature. The suite was comfortable and well-equipped, making our two-night stay enjoyable. I loved the cozy ambiance created by the wood-burning stove in the sitting area. Wi-Fi connectivity was quite weak, which made it challenging to stay connected. Additionally, the bathroom could use a bit more space. it felt a bit cramped. Still, the stunning scenery and thoughtful hospitality really made our visit special.

I had a lovely time enjoying the beautiful views while relaxing with my family in the cozy leisure room. The gardens were just perfect for winding down after a day of exploring, and the morning muffins were a delightful surprise. Just a heads up, though – getting a cab in the area at night can be a bit tricky, so plan ahead! 😊

Couples getaway for magic moments
We had an amazing time with Niamh's warm welcome with tea and cake after our long drive. The views from our room, overlooking the lake and the farm, were breathtaking, especially when we saw a lamb being born, it was like something out of a dream.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but so worth it for the experience.
